This awesome vintage late Art Deco, early Retro Era gold filled, guilloche engraved locket is so unique. This piece retains its original inner frames and one of the celluloid pieces. It comes with the original curb chain that is in very good shape, original spring ring works perfectly.
The LaMode name was used by the Ripley & Gowen Co. of Attleboro, MA during this time period. Gold filled gives you the look and feel of solid gold but, unlike gold plated jewelry, the gold content is many times thicker and the color will not fade.

Because each ring is unique in its age and construction, the ability to size varies by design and stone setting. Many pieces can be adjusted within two sizes, though this is only a general guideline.
We recommend having any sizing done by a trusted local jeweler, ideally one who uses a laser welder, as antique gold and historical settings often require specialized care.
